The second stage in our sewer maintenance program is to inspect the internal pipework of the drainage system. Based upon the results of the first stage of the program, drainage problem detection, where any issues with pipework have been identified, our team of experts use roaming CCTV equipment to see exactly what is causing any blockages or leaks.

Using this method allows us to rapidly identify any problems, and to relay this information onto the client immediately, providing footage of the actual issue and the recommended solution.

Once the problem has been identified, usually a blocked or broken piece of pipework, we can then move onto the next stage of the sewer service program, drainage system renovation.

Why should I need a video inspection?

You currently have a blocked drain. Once the drain has been unblocked, it is beneficial to have a video inspection to identify the cause.
If you are intending to purchase a property, we would recommend that you have the drains inspected and surveyed before purchase.
If you have experienced problems in the past with blocked drains, you will realise that a video inspection can pin-point any areas of damage or weakness in the drainage system, the repair of which could save you money in the near future.

What is involved in a video inspection?

CCTV utilises a small closed-circuit television camera probe to provide a perfect view of the drainage system. The camera probe is fed down the drain line inside the drainage pipe until the cause of the blockage/problem is reached. The camera sends the image to a TV monitor enabling us to see the fault/problem. The survey will be recorded, enabling us to provide the customer with a full video/DVD of the drainage system for insurance or other purposes. CCTV inspections of the drainage system can be accompanied by high pressure jetting if required.
